A Christmas Story actor Yano Anaya is no longer welcome at the iconic home from the movie after owner 'flips

A Christmas Story actor Yano Anaya was yelled at by the owner of the film’s iconic home in a video that makes for pretty awkward viewing.

Anaya had been taking photos with fans on the property’s steps when the house’s owner Brian Jones marched over and flung a load of F-bombs Anaya’s way.

Jones could even be heard telling Anaya he’s no longer welcome at the property, despite the actor’s pal claiming Jones and Anaya had spoken on the phone a day prior.

In footage obtained by TMZ and filmed on 15 November, Jones stormed over to Anaya – who played Grover Dill in the festive 1983 film – and started screaming at him to keep away from the property.

Jones could be heard calling Anaya a ‘scammer, loser and piece of sh*t’ while also suggesting the star had ‘screwed him over’.

The incident follows reports that Anaya and his A Christmas Story co-stars want to purchase the famous home.

UNILAD has approached Anaya for comment.

Anaya’s business partner Emmanuel Soba told TMZ that the actor has ‘no idea why the homeowner was so upset’ and claimed Anaya ‘spoke to Brian on the phone the day before the incident and had a great conversation’.

Meanwhile, Jones told the outlet: “I apologise for the way I expressed myself; however, it was out of concern that fans could be misled into contributing to a GoFundMe campaign that will not result in the purchase of the house.”

He added: “I have no association with any GoFundMe campaign. I am not selling the house through Go Fund Me, so fans should not contribute to that fund under false pretences, thinking their money is going toward buying the house. I am entertaining offers only from qualified buyers through my real estate broker.”

The GoFundMe had been started so that money can be raised to buy the house online.

Soba confirmed to TMZ that a ‘volunteer member of their group’ started the page, but insisted it was never actually active and that they already have a ‘list of investors’ that could purchase the property without the GoFundMe.

Earlier this month, Anaya told TMZ that he and some of his cast mates are interested in buying the home, noting: “It only makes sense to have the cast run the show.”

He also claimed to have received ‘thousands’ of messages from worried fans about who will buy the home – which was put up for sale this month.
